Subject: Best Team Ever??!!

There have been many remarkable fancy baseball teams throughout history. Who
can forget Team CiderPants, 1975, who took the fancy baseball world by storm when he
drafted relative unknown Randy Jones in the fifth round. Randy Jones went on to win
twenty games with a 2.24 ERA, silencing CiderPants' critics. Of course, what was truly
revolutionary about this draft pick was the fact that CiderPants drafted Randy Jones on
the basis of liking the name "Randy."
Or what about Team Eisenhower's Fury, who broke the color barrier by drafting Jackie
Robinson in 1947.
And seriously, it is impossible to forget Team Gorgonzola on Rye, who took rookie
manager of the year in 1986 by razzing the pants off of his opponents all summer long,
wearing them down during those hot summer months under a constant barrage of name-
calling, hot-headedness, and just plain oomph, that it didn't matter that he had the
most horrible draft on record; he took first place some time around the all-star break
and never looked back.
These are some of the truly memorable FANCY BASEBALL Hall of Fame all-time greats. But
I really don't think that any of these teams hold a candle to the might and fury of the
three year-old Team LATOYA JACKSON. Its impressive success in the second half of the 2004
season, the unbelievable league-wide dominance of the 2006 team, and the biting yet insightful
razzes of its Hall of Fame caliber manager puts this team miles above even teams as great as
Team BallsBallsBallsBallsBalls, the team that proved to the world that even paraplegics can
be successful fancy baseball managers.
The sky's the limit for Team LATOYA JACKSON STEAM ROLLER EXPRESS. I'd like to start a string
on everyone's personal favorite historic fancy baseball teams.

Sincerely,
KGW.
